How to Become an Official

If you are interested in becoming a technical sport official, such as a referee, judge or umpire, contact the National Officiating Chair of the particular sport you are interested in. They will provide you with the relevant contact information in your area of residence.  Those names and contacts may be found on this site.

You may also want to contact the National Sport Organization responsible for your sport or the Provincial Government Department responsible for sport in your province.  Below are links to the Sport Canada website for NSO's and for the Provincial/Territorial Ministries responsible for sport.
